• Inspection

We first send our team to have a clear view of the area to be transformed. This team checks on both water and gas pipes lying near the surface. This helps to notify us on the spots we should be careful on to avoid damage.

• Excavation

This stage entails establishing the required depth for the base and sub-base. We obtain the depth from the layers of the base and sub-base. The depth is successfully obtained after an establishment of a reference point which is used to match the levels all across. The base is then made compact using a plate compactor, removing any protrusions from it such as rocks.
A layer of geotextile is added to a base composed of clay soil. This will provide stability which is a vital component for the project.

• Establishing the base.

We add coarse aggregate to the base and compact it with a plate compactor. The depth of the base is also dependent on the weather conditions of a place. An area with cooler weather conditions will require a thicker base as compared to an area with a much warmer climate condition all year round.

• Setting the edge restrainers.

This stage is very significant for the success of the project. Edge restrainers are purposely established to keep the pavers intact and prevent them from shifting or unnecessary movement. They confine the pavers.

• Lying the sand.

We use coarse sand for this final step. This will give a lot of contact in terms of friction to avoid slipping of pavers.

• Installing the pavers.

This is the final step for the whole process to come to an end. We lay the pavers in accordance to the required patterns and trim them to suit the edges or corners. We then sweep the remaining sand into the joints found between the pavers.
